Dr Janchai King

Dr Janchai King is a Senior Practitioner Educational Psychologist working in the London Borough of Barnet Educational Psychology Team and as an Academic and Professional Tutor at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust. Prior to her Doctoral training in Child, Community and Educational Psychology at the Tavistock & Portman Trust, she worked in a child and adolescent mental health service (CAMHS) delivering therapeutic intervention, co-ordinating monitoring and evaluation data for the service and undertaking research. She currently has a strategic role in her Educational Psychology Team, co-ordinating the offer of support for the school, college and parent/carer community as a response to the Coronavirus pandemic. She has also recently developed the Borough’s ‘local offer’ webpage providing guidance and resources around the graduated approach to supporting mental health and wellbeing.
